Marco Island Shell Club’s Spring Expo and Shell Art Sale


Get ready for a vibrant seaside celebration as the Marco Island Shell Club invites residents and visitors alike to experience its annual Spring Expo and Shell Art Sale taking place on Friday and Saturday, March 13–14, 2026.

This much‑anticipated annual event is a favorite on Marco Island, drawing shell lovers, art enthusiasts, families, and visitors from near and far. For two full days, guests can immerse themselves in a unique showcase of coastal artistry, education, and hands‑on fun, all inspired by the natural beauty of the sea.

Browse beautifully decorated tables filled with one‑of‑a‑kind shell art, all handcrafted by talented members of the Marco Island Shell Club. Discover an impressive variety of creations including critters, mosaics, jewelry, holiday ornaments, mini displays, and floral designs, along with resin creations, glass trees, and shell trees of all sizes. Many of these stunning pieces are made using shells collected from the pristine beaches of the 10,000 Islands, making each item truly special and uniquely local.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy scientific and artistic displays created by club members, explore fascinating specimen shells, and learn more about the incredible diversity and beauty of seashells and mollusks. Be sure to enter the event raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes.
The Spring Expo and Shell Art Sale support an important mission. Proceeds from the sale help fund scholarships and grants, allowing the club to support education, conservation efforts, and shell‑related arts in the community.

The Marco Island Shell Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to shell enthusiasts of all experience levels. Founded in 1982, the club has grown to 85 members, including 23 Honorary Members recognized for exceptional service and dedication. The club is dedicated to the study, conservation, history, and appreciation of seashells and mollusks, while encouraging shell‑related interests such as collecting, crafting, and shell art.
