Recurring Subscriptions

Starting in November 2025, we are switching from prepaid subscriptions to issue-by-issue recurring subscriptions. This change will automatically happen when your current prepaid subscription renews. Subscriptions will continue, but subscribers will be charged for one issue at a time, not for six issues in advance.

We’re not going anywhere—we will still be producing the same premium magazine filled with beautiful photos and interesting and educational articles. However, instead of paying for six issues of the magazine ahead of time, you’ll pay for one issue at a time. We will continue to produce the Digital Edition of each magazine, which is enjoyed by readers around the world. We have some special issues of the magazine planned, each with a focus on a certain aspect of beachcombing.

In addition to the print magazine, we will be producing more digital-only content, with the ability to include videos and interactive content in these stories. Website views on Beachcombing.com continue to explode, so we know that your stories and advertising reach more people online than in print. We look forward to delivering even more engaging content in a variety of formats in the future.

What this means for subscribers:

If you are a subscriber, when your subscription renews next time, your subscription will change to a recurring subscription, and you will be charged for one issue at a time going forward. You will be automatically charged individually before each issue is printed. As always, you’ll be able to cancel your subscription at any time.

This change will be automatic the next time you renew, so you don't need to do anything to continue receiving the magazine. Subscribers still get the lowest discounted per-issue price.

What this means for non-subscribers:

If you do not have a subscription, you can still sign up today for a recurring subscription.

If you don't want a subscription, you can purchase individual print and digital copies of the magazine. You can pre-order each issue at a discounted price, or order copies of any issue once it’s printed at the regular price. You choose the issues you want — you decide which magazines interest you most.

What this means for advertisers:

We will continue to offer packages for advertising in the print magazine, on the website, and in our enewsletters. We want to ensure that we continue to share your business and services with our loyal readers through our partnership with you. We hope that you continue to see the results from your advertising in both print and digital formats.

How to keep up with the latest information:

If you haven’t already, please subscribe to the free Beachcombing enewsletter at http://eepurl.com/grkiGb and be sure to opt-in so we have permission to email you. You’ll be the first to know about upcoming issues, online stories, discounts, giveaways, and special offers. We do not sell your email address to anyone. Be sure to also follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, and YouTube, where we post the latest content and news on a regular basis.

The bottom line:

The good news is that we plan to keep publishing engaging stories from the beach in a premium, glossy print format, plus continue to grow our digital presence. And you have the flexibility to pay for the magazine over time. We are planning to continue sharing your fantastic articles about beach finds, travel destinations, arts and home décor, and other stories from our worldwide beachcombing community in print and online.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. Thank you for your support and continued enthusiasm for Beachcombing!
