Subscription Prices 2025

I want to thank all of you who have been part of Beachcombing Magazine for the past eight years, either as a subscriber, contributor, advertiser, or retailer. Every new issue has been a wonderful opportunity to bring you stories about this passion and hobby we all share. During the past eight years, we have worked together to produce a magazine filled with beauty, inspiration, and education. I hope that you have enjoyed learning about all the wonders found on beaches around the world as much as I have.

Since launching in 2017, we have kept the magazine subscription at the original price of $39.99. During that time, the cumulative rate of inflation has been over 30%, and some aspects of printing and shipping have increased even more. Postage is scheduled to increase another 9% this July, the paper used in Beachcombing is up by 6% this year, and our printer has added a surcharge on all our costs due to tariffs on the ink, plates, glues, and more used to print the magazine.

What this all means is that in order to keep publishing Beachcombing at a sustainable rate, we will have to increase the cost of subscriptions for the first time in eight years. The new price for a Print+Digital subscription, which includes receiving the magazine six times a year and access to the online version of the magazine, will go from $39.99 to $49.99. You will see this price increase when you purchase a new subscription or when your annual subscription renews, starting in June 2025. The prices for a Digital-Only Subscription of $29.99 and for a Premium Subscription of $79.99 will not change at this time.

We understand that an increase of 25% might seem like a lot, but we sincerely hope that the value you get from each issue is worth $8.33 to you. Please email us if you want to switch to a Digital-Only or Premium subscription when you renew, or if you want to pause your subscription when it expires.

We hope to continue to bring you stories of beachcombing destinations, treasures from the shore, stunning photography, captivating stories, and advice from beachcombers from around the world for years to come.
