A giveaway is a great way to get your products or services out to a broader audience.

How it works

You provide item to giveaway and we agree on entry rules (posting an image, including a hashtag, sharing a post, answering a survey, etc.). We promote the giveaway on the Beachcombing website, Facebook, and Instagram pages; and include the giveaway info in an email to our full list.

Depending on the timing and content, we possibly include the promotion in the print magazine or we print the images we collect for the giveaway in the magazine with a mention of the winner and prize.

We can tailor the giveaway together to make sure it’s a great fit for you and for readers.

Together:

  • Agree on the giveaway item(s)
  • Come up with the rules and timing of the giveaway
  • Randomly select a winner from the entrants

Giveaway Sponsor:

  • Provides the item(s) to be given away. You can either ship it directly to the winner(s) or you can ship it to Beachcombing, and we will mail the prize(s).
  • Provides high-resolution images of the item, hopefully more than one, to be shared online throughout the giveaway period
  • Promotes the giveaway to their communities and customers, online and off

Beachcombing:

  • Creates a blog post on the website that has a shareable link
  • Posts on Facebook
  • Posts on Instagram
  • Includes the details of the giveaway in email to full list

Fill your bag with bounty from the beach!

Here's your chance to get a SunSport Canvas Beachcomber's Bounty crossbody bag. You'll be able to fill this bag with sea glass, shells, rocks, fossils, and more.

Mudlarks: Treasures of the Thames Giveaway

mudlark book giveaway

We’re celebrating the publishing anniversary of Mudlarks: Treasures of the Thames with a giveaway!

Author Jason Sandy has offered to take two people for a three-hour tour of his favorite historic highlights around London. Beachcombing is adding a free premium hardcover copy of his book and a round of drinks at the Mudlark Pub in London after the tour!

Can’t make it to London? Jason will take you on a private virtual tour of some of his collection on Zoom.

Mudlarking on the Thames Foreshore requires a permit, so Jason won't be able to take you on a mudlarking tour on the river foreshore. You can still have the mudlarking experience with a guided mudlarking tour in London with the Thames Discovery Programme or Thames Explorer Trust.

One winner will be randomly selected from all the entries on December 15th. The winner will not have to click a link or pay for anything so please do not click any links that are sent to you via Facebook or Instagram. Feel free to contact us to confirm that you are the winner!
